Alors que "le allant" Jeudi des Racques risque encore de prendre le train à son compte pour aller le plus loin possible, la pisteuse Iris From, qui a mieux couru que ne l'indique le classement à l'arrivée dans le Trophée Vert, et Instinct Saint Bar, qui est une véritable tirelire ambulante, seront de bons points d'appuis dans ce Grand Prix où Joyeux du Vivien ne sera pas associé à Jean-Philippe Monclin sans ambition. Utiles, Juppy Up comme Jerry Quick se contenteront de la moindre allocation, à l'image d'Harmony La Nuit, qui vient de refaire surface à Vichy, voire Ivrig Viking, lequel est loin d'être barré en pareille compagnie, certes, mais n'est pas vraiment réputé pour sa fiabilité !
