Lauréat de ses deux dernières courses, d’abord à Randwick puis, en dernier lieu, dans la Manion Cup de Rosehill, Mr Monaco aura les faveurs de notre sélection, dans ce ''Handicap/Groupe I'', principalement face à Machine Gun Gracie, faisant preuve d’une grande endurance, qui aborde ce rendez-vous en pleine possession de ses moyens, mais aussi à River of Stars, restant sur deux 4èmes places encourageantes, à Litzdeel, venant d’échouer de peu pour la victoire à Flemington (2ème), et à Piggyback, dont la grande condition ne se dément pas, qui mérite d’être suivi de près pour son retour au niveau handicap, qui plus est sur 3.200 mètres. Juja Kibo, répétant ses courses en ce moment, et Soul of Spain, à reprendre, tenteront de surprendre. On aurait pu en citer d’autres…
