Un Groupe I pour les steeple-chasers où la succession de Lecky Watson est ouverte ! Nous ferons confiance à Kaïd D'Authie, qui reste sur sa victoire dans le Novice Chase (Groupe I) à Leopardstown en dominant notamment Western Fold et Final Demand; une confirmation est attendue dès ce mercredi à Cheltenham. L'opposition sera emmenée par Romeo Coolio, invaincu dans la discipline et vainqueur de l'Irish Arkle Novice Chase (Groupe I) à Leopardstown, et par Wendigo, qui reste sur un plaisant succès à Ayr. Il faudra surveiller de près Koktail Divin, préparé avec soin pour le meeting de Cheltenham, et The Big Westerner, qui reste sur une victoire de Groupe II au mois de décembre sur le steeple de Limerick. Citons enfin Oscars Brother, qui reste sur deux succès au niveau Groupe II dans la discipline.
