CAPTAIN CLEVER ran some fair races in KwaZulu-Natal. He should do well on local debut trying blinkers for the first time. PLAYMAKER did not show much on debut but does have Richard Fourie aboard so could improve. PIBE DE ORO has not finished off his races so it is of no surprise that blinkers have been reached for but he did not shine with this equipment earlier in his career. STAND UP is threatening to win a race and can do so if given a soft lead this time. RIVER FERN is better than the last run would suggest and could be a threat.
