CALLMEGETRIX is an interesting proposition on her Highveld and stable debut. She is distance suited and the best-weighted runner in the race. However, thriving ARGO ALLEY is hard to oppose in current form. St John Gray's charge has gone from strength to strength recently and was only touched off in a similar contest last time off his current (career-high) mark. Returning ROYAL FORCE is open to any amount of improvement on his reappearance, so he must be respected. Stablemate WILD INTENT fits a similar profile but is probably better over further. TEXAS RED and MELECH complete the shortlist.
