SOLDIER'S EYE and MY LADY SOUL are closely matched on the form of a recent 1400m meeting on the Standside track at a higher level. They renew rivalry on similar weight terms, so there should be little between them again. Both are competitive at this level and should make their presence felt. However, preference is for consistent CAPE LIGHTS who acquitted herself well in a Listed race on the Standside track from a wide draw last time. She wears first-time blinkers and races off a slightly lower mark, so represents an attractive betting proposition. CEUTA and I AM REGAL complete the shortlist.
