On ouvre ce dernier épisode du meeting par une épreuve de vitesse pour 4 ans dans laquelle Lord Fromentro, dont les limites actuelles sont inconnues, tente de franchir un nouveau cap en étant pieds nus pour la première fois après sa dernière plaisante victoire ici-même. Les "Bazire" Fergus Del Ronco, venant de bien débuter chez nous et Lucifer du Caieu, irréprochable, partiront en seconde ligne mais peuvent donner une bonne réplique au protégé de Thierry Duvaldestin, comme Faramir AS, fraîchement débarqué en France et à suivre de près car il a montré des moyens en Italie. Force of Nature est mal loti derrière la voiture mais a sa chance ensuite pour un bon classement sur la lancée de son dernier succès, venant avec Linaro, en progrès, Frankie Bar, qui n'a pas démérité dernièrement, et Flamenco Fer, à découvrir sur notre sol.
