WALT WHITMAN came from a long way back to win well last time out and only picked up a 4-point penalty and that may not be enough to anchor him. There are, however, some tough knockers in the race and he won't find it easy to give some of these start like that. THE INKOSANA flopped on the turf last time out but has done well on this surface of late and could bounce back to be a threat. Stable companion HEAD GARDENER could play a minor role. SLAINTE MHATH has not been easy to find but does appear to like this surface and does have some ability when in the mood. MALDANO and SAN QUINTIN are in good shape and are not out of it.
