Après une promenade de santé le 7 janvier à Bordeaux (en devançant aisément un poulain qui a gagné mardi à Toulouse), L'Amour Suprême peut tout à fait rester invaincu à l'issue de cette épreuve. Pour ce faire, il devra notamment dominer Lightning Jiel, qui a dévoilé de bons moyens lors de ses récents débuts ornais, et Lord Dairpet, pas revu depuis son succès initial du 1er octobre à Cordemais. Leolio, deux fois quatrième depuis le début du meeting d'hiver, et Lover Julma, jugé notamment sur sa première tentative sur la petite piste, restent à surveiller pour un accessit.
