An interesting race as there are some runners who could score making their local debuts. SCOTT'S BAR put in an improved performance last time out so it is a bit of a surprise to see him at this centre. He could prove to be the right one on his Poly debut. Former stablemate TARANAKI NOMAD was behind him but more was expected from him and he too could win on local debut, trying the surface. CAPRANICA is knocking on the door and could take advantage of his Poly experience. GOOD SHINE and LUCA DA WHEELS are clearly just modest but could earn some money. GIMMEAGAMBLE improved and benefit from the longer distance.
